Sexual Assault Services

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE:
Emergency shelter for domestic violence survivors and their children.
Twenty-four hour crisis hotline.
Advocacy for victim at the hospital during sexual assault exam
Support during any necessary interviews with medical or law enforcement personnel
Clothing if personal clothing is surrendered as evidence
Crisis Intervention counseling, including information about services with the Crisis Center and other community resources

SHELTER SERVICES:
Housing in residential neighborhood with separate rooms for each family.
Food, clothing, and transportation

LEGAL ADVOCACY, REFERRALS, AND CLIENT ACCOMPANIMENT:
Accompaniment to police department, prosecutor's office and court
Assistance with Victims' Compensation applications
Assistance filing for protection orders
Provide information and outline options for legal remedies
Providing information on the legal process and the status of client's case
Court preparation for cases going to trial
