81% of people who survived family violence or sexual assault report psychological difficulties, like PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
The Crisis Center works with licensed counselors to provide trauma informed therapies, including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to adults, children, and families sufffering from abuse and other crisis situations.
These modalities are designed to help victims work through and heal from symptoms of trauma they may have experienced in the wake of–and for years after–an attack.
